Optimus is past his Prime
My 40 year old Optimus Prime figure has seen better days.
I made the mistake of comparing my completed Nemesis Prime with my original G1 Optimus. Obviously a much loved toy from my childhood wasn't going to stand up against something fresh out of the box so I decided to do something about it. My 40 year old, much played with Optimus. ... but frankly I don't have it in me right now. This is the first post I've made since my Bumblebee/Herbee post last year. It's been a tough year. Early on in the year my elderly Mom had a mild heart attack. Things progressively got worse from there. A Temu knock-off white Bumblebee, sticker labels, colour printer, and some Photoshop.
Since I first saw the variety of Bumblebee colours on Temu I've wanted to grab myself a white one to Herbie up. I didn't really fancy paying £27 for one though so I chose it for a prize on the Temu "game" Fishland.
