The Optimus Prime label project is still a work in progress
Yep, I am still working on the Optimus Prime labels when I can but I’m having to deal with more pressing matters at the moment; which I don’t want to get into here and bore you with.
Before I continue with this post I would like to mention the passing of Peter Cullen, the man who provided Optimus Prime (and many, many other characters) with, not only a voice, but a heart and soul too. Peter, thank you so very much for bringing to life so many wonderful characters for all those years. May you Rest in Peace knowing you brought joy to so many of us.

I included some of the labels on a previous post some time back but I will repost them here for good measure.
What am I hoping to achieve?
My main goals for this project are fairly simple.
- Recreate the original factory and stickersheet labels for the OG G1 Optimus Prime in a decent resolution, keeping as close to the originals as possible.
- Create labels for other Prime’s to use on G1 Optimus, for example, Nemesis Prime, Shattered Glass, Battle Convoy, etc. based on the original stickersheet labels.
- Recreate the original internal trailer factory and stickersheet labels in a decent resolution, keeping as close to the originals as possible.
- Create original style internal trailer labels for other Prime variants in a G1 style.
- Recreate the G2 Optimus Prime labels in a decent resolution.
Prior to other things eating away at my time I was making good progress. The only real difficulty I’ve hit is trying to get information on the monitor displays inside the trailer. My original labels are mostly unreadable and photos online all seem to be blurred. There are no actual words on the KOs even though the text is clear enough to read; just random “ASDFASSDASDADS” which is no help. I didn’t want to post the trailer wall labels without having the rest ready but I think I’ll do it anyway.

So, that’s what I have so far. I’m not completely convinced by my attempt at the G2 yet. The blue ‘PRIME’ squiggle has me getting a little OCD and I’m not 100% sure if I have the correct shade of red. I have a G2 voicebox on the way so I’ll likely add on the labels for that too once it arrives and I can get the measurements.
I have an alternate Shattered Glass version in mind but I haven’t got around to it yet.
