Bitlocker encryption enabled on new equipment purchased from Currys/PC World?
Bitlocker being enabled doesn't sound like a bad idea in a period when viruses, malware, and ransomware has taken down organisations such as the NHS for a time. Nor does it being enabled from the moment you purchase a new PC or laptop. At least not until a friend called me last week (20/03/2025). I should be sleeping but instead I'm thinking of Star Trek: Picard.
I'm tired. Sleep is needed but right now my (almost) three year old Grandson is fast asleep, sprawled out across my side of the bed and I'm not about to disturb him.
